Anyone who’s ever gone grocery shopping at Aldi knows that you can find some very affordable quality food and some extremely random goods at the same time. The German grocer made its name across several continents as a brand specializing in mostly organic foods at a price most can afford. Now, they're bringing another affordable product to market…sneakers.
Beginning in August, Aldi will offer shoppers their $13 Crane sneaker. The design is simple enough, pulling ques from the Air Force 1 with a thick midsole and understated upper construction. So far, we’ve seen colorways predominantly white, with secondary colors providing trim around the heel, tip, and eye stays. Some color is represented on the heel tab, but visible Aldi branding can be seen in the early images.
The Aldi Crane comes in unisex sizing and fits sizes 6 to 9 (WMNS) and 9 to 11 (Men's). If you’re interested in securing a pair, you’ll have to head to your local Aldi store on August 23rd. Be sure to check us out on Twitter and Instagram, where we cover everything from sneakers to streetwear.
