Ghostbusters x Puma Suede XL Drops This October
Celebrating the 40th anniversary of the iconic Ghostbusters franchise, Puma and Sony Pictures have come together to release a special edition of the Puma Suede XL. The release pays homage to two of the film's most memorable villains: Slimer and the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. This limited-edition collection two-pack gears up for launch just in time for the spooky season of Halloween.
The Ghostbusters x Puma Suede XL pack introduces a dual colorway inspired by these beloved characters. The "Stay Puft" edition boasts a white suede upper with cream overlays, mimicking the marshmallow man's fluffy exterior. A puffed-up Puma Formstripe adds a comical touch, reminiscent of Stay Puft's comically large proportions. Underfoot, transparent outsoles encase a graphic of Stay Puft, adding a fun, collectible element to the design.
Contrastingly, the "Slimer" version comes in an oozing green suede, with darker green accents, perfectly capturing the essence of the mischievous ghost. The shoe features a hairy suede Formstripe, enhancing Slimer's slimy, ethereal appearance. An interesting detail is the hot dog graphic on the sole, a nod to Slimer's mischievous run-ins with street food in the franchise.
