Nike continues to experiment with its Nike Dunk Low line, this time they take inspiration from one of Oregon's most famous catches, the rainbow trout. Nike looks to take a risk with this funky mash-up of materials and designs.
The shoe comes dress in a mix of materials, the overlays come in shades of dark olive suede overlays, the vamp and midfoot come in a material that resembles that of a trouts underbelly, smooth and glossy. The black and yellow speckled dots that crowd the side panels give the appearance of fish scales. The heel features a orange and pink hue that matches the tongue tag, and the pair is finished off with a metallic Swoosh and a white rubber midsole and outsole.
The Nike Dunk Low Rainbow Trout is expect to hit the streets Summer of 2023. The pair is expected to release via the Nike SNKRS app and select Nike retailers, as of now no official retail has been set.
