Awake NY x Jordan Air Ship Releases March 2024
Nike is pushing full steam ahead with the attempt to reintroduce the Air Ship silhouette to the masses. Known as the precursor to the Air Jordan 1, the shoe has recently been treated to several new colorway releases and even high-level collaborations with the likes of A Ma Maniere.
This newest collaboration comes to us with a vintage vibe from Awake NY. The pair features white tumbled leather on the upper with mismatched blue and red collars on each shoe. The Air Ships have a silver swoosh with respective red and blue trim and an embroidered “A” on the forefoot. The vintage vibe continues with a sail-colored midsole and a muted maroon outsole.
The Awake New York x Jordan Air Ship "University Red" is currently scheduled to release March 9th, 2024 for $150 via Awake NY's website before seeing a global release via SNKRS on March 13th, 2024.
