The Awake NY x Converse One Star Collection Releases October 6th
New York-based clothing label, Awake NY, will be teaming up with Converse to release a brand new One Star Collection. Coming in three colorways, will see a vibrant blue, as well as more minimal options, including a black and white variant. This exciting collection has been teased the last week, but is now officially confirmed. If you're looking to get your hands on a pair, you'll have two chances for its online release, from both brands.
The Awake NY x Converse One Star features a fairly simplistic design, but still brings the New York aesthetic to the sneaker. The upper will come in a premium suede featuring a blue, black, and white hue. "Awake" branding will be found on the lateral side, overshadowing the carefully cut-out star, representing the iconic Converse logo. Additional Awake/Converse branding can be found on the back of the midsole, and a custom insole for this collection. The rubber midsole will come in white, with a classic brown outsole to finish the look.
