The Air Jordan 12 "Flu Game" is not only an iconic design but also captures a piece of NBA history. Back in 1997, Michael Jordan wore the Air Jordan 12 "Flu Game" during Game 5 of the NBA finals, where Jordan led the Chicago Bulls to victory over the Utah Jazz despite his flu-like symptoms. To cement the status of this sneaker, we saw Jordan's signed game-worn Air Jordan 12 sell for $1.38 million via Goldin's auction last June. Jordan Brand will bring back this iconic silhouette in 2025, with an expected 1:1 design to the original pair.
The Air Jordan 12 “Flu Game” (2025) is expected to feature a similar design to that of the original 1997 pair. The upper will be crafted of tumbled leather with the iconic two-toned design. The upper will be found in a sleek Black, extending to the inner lining, tongue, and laces. Varsity Red accents will be found across the toe box, Jumpman logo, heel tab, and finish off the rubber sole as well. Stay tuned for more updates regarding this release in the coming months.
The Air Jordan 12 “Flu Game” is set to return in Spring 2025 via the Nike SNKRS app and other select Nike retailers. To stay informed on all things Jordan Brand and to stay up to date with the latest releases, connect with us on Instagram and Twitter.
