Joining the Nike Kobe 6 Protro "Sail," the Nike Kobe 5 “Year of the Mamba" will hit shelves February 2025, as part of the greater Nike Kobe model lineup. Showcasing classic Laker's team colors, this colorway pays homage to Bryant's legacy on and off the court. The Nike Kobe 9 Elite Protro “Masterpiece” features an LA Lakers-inspired color palette, including Eggplant, Black, and Metallic Gold hues. The upper is expected to arrive mainly in Purple, with Black accents found on the inner lining, tongue, and laces. Metallic Gold accents will grace the Nike Swoosh and Kobe branding across the sneaker. Finishing off the look, expect a Black midsole sitting atop a Purple rubber outsole.
