It doesn’t matter if your team Jalen Hurts or Dak Prescott in the “Who had the best Air Jordan PE cleats” debate this year, the visibility of Jordan-branded spikes was more prevalent than ever during this NFL season. Both Hurts and Prescott are Jordan Brand athletes and showed a new PE with every kickoff, and countless athletes around the league wore custom cleats and hybrid models of classic sneaker silhouettes mashed up with spiked soles. Ever the opportunist, Nike recognized the trend and is releasing the Air Jordan 11 “Gratitude” cleat ahead of the next football season.
For the most part, the spikes look just like the retro basketball sneakers released in December 2023 with the black patent leather and gold Jumpman logo. The Air Jordan 11 “Gratitude” cleats have a slightly lower cut than the basketball shoes and have translucent molded cleats on the undercarriage. The “Gratitude” cleats follow the successful transition of the Air Jordan 1 and Nike Dunk Low from lifestyle shoes to performance cleats.
The Air Jordan 11 “Gratitude” Mid TD is due to be released in Spring 2024 for $200. The pair will likely be released via the Nike App and other sporting goods retailers. Stay up-to-date on all the latest sneaker news and release info by following us on Twitter and Instagram.
