At the end of 2023, we saw adidas partner up with NBA star, Anthony Edwards, and together they released his first-ever signature shoe, the adidas AE 1. Since it's debut back in December 2023, we're now getting to see its next colorway, "All-Star," which is set to arrive just in time for the NBA All-Star event. Releasing in a color palette including Metallic Burgundy, Black, and Lime Green hues, this colorway was made for the stage featuring unique metallic accents. Stay tuned for more information regarding this release in the coming weeks.
The adidas AE 1 “All-Star” features a neoprene inner bootie and a mix of mesh/rubber on the upper. The inner bootie will be found in a sleek Black, with the upper found in a special Lime Green and metallic Burgundy gradient effect. A key characteristic of this sneaker is the side ventilation, which may or may not be overkill, which can be seen through its honeycomb design. The rear heel features a protruding carbon fiber piece with a colored adidas logo in Lime Green. The JET BOOST midsole connects with the upper and features a rubberized outsole with an arrow-designed tread for the best grip on the court.
