AAPE by Bape and Vans Release Camo Inspired Designs
AAPE by A Bathing Ape is coming together with Vans to bring the iconic Ape Camo design onto the Vans Volt silhouette. This collection will feature the Vans SK8-Hi and Authentic, in a Grey Camo and Olive Camo colorway. This will not be Bape and Vans' first redeo as they continue their long time partnership.
The Vans Volt was first introduced back in 2003 by Vault by Vans. This iconic design is hard to miss with the prominent volt design seen protruding out the midsole. Aside from the volt, the silouette holds itself pretty tradition with a premium suede and canvas upper. The Grey Camo colorway offers a more clean aesthteic with a base camo layer with grey suede overlays. This colorway will offer blue accents which will be found on the Vans Sidestripe on the SK8-Hi and on the stiching and branding on the Authentic. The Olive Camo colorway will follow very similiarly in suite with the classic camo print found on the upper and olive suede overlays. This colorway will feature pink accents rather than blue. To finalize the look, the branding on this collection is very prominent with "AAPE" stitched onto the rear heel on the SK8-Hi's and found on the lateral heel on the Authentics. You'll also notice "Aape "apes and planet earth"" detailed onto the midsole in black.
