After 20 years in the game, LeBron James has become one of the most well-rounded players we have ever seen; we could say the same for his sneakers. Through the years, we've seen many variations from high tops to mid-cuts, velcro straps, crazy colorways, and now the double-decker swoosh of the LeBron 20. After debuting the silhouette a few months ago, it's time for the annual installment of the LeBron x Florida A & M (FAMU) partnership.
For this year's edition, Nike brought in the heavyweights of the Whitaker Groups APB Store to spin their twist on the school's colors. The Nike LeBron 20 x APM x FAMU release features a two-pack of shoes, both set up in the school's colors. The "Peach Cream" uses a full-grain leather upper coated in the namesake color. The double-stacked swoosh has the school's green on the bottom with a snakeskin-like textured safety-orange swoosh on top as a nod to the school's rattlesnake mascot. An Ivory midsole and APB branding on the tongue comprise just half of this year's LeBron 20 x FAMU collection.
The Nike x APB x FAMU Lebron 20 "Peach Cream" will be released alongside its "Coconut Milk" counterpart on June 16th. The kicks will run $200 and drop at the Nike SNKRS app, APB Store, and other select retailers. Follow us on Twitter and Instagram for all the latest sneakers, streetwear, and collectibles.
