The long-awaited Nike x Off-White x Futura Labs Dunk Lows are finally set to release, kind of. The 2-pack has been teased, rumored, and leaked for over three years and will finally be available to the public for the first and only time. According to Sotheby’s Sneakers Instagram post both variations will soon be available for auction only.
Originally displayed by the Goat himself, Virgil Abloh, at a 2020 show in Paris the pack features 2 dunks with the Off-White signature overlace. One pair uses the UNC blue paneling with a white toe box and mid panel that are covered in an abstract airbrush design. Light blue base laces and swoosh round out the theme for this shoe. The second shoe comes alive in a bright orange base with undertones of navy blue used for contrast on the artwork, sockliner, and base laces. Both shoes have Virgil’s hallmark of orange overlaces and the Futura Laboratories logo in white on the heel of each shoe.
With only 8 pairs in total ranging from sizes 5-12 Sotheby's is estimating these pairs to fetch between $2,000-$4,000, but don’t be surprised if they go much higher. The shoes have no reserve pricing and bidding will start at $1. The auction will be held online at Sotheby's and will run from April 5 - April 14. Sotheby’s has been pretty prominent in the sneaker world lately with The Dynasty Collection, The Last Dance shoes and now the Nike x Off-White Futura Dunks.
