The Nike Kobe 6 Protro may be one of the most successful silhouettes the Kobe line has ever produced. From the legendary “Grinch” colorway to the recent “Italian Camo” the Kobe 6 rarely, if ever, disappoints. One of the 6’s greatest hits was the black and red “All-Star” that debuted in 2011 and retroed in 2021 is now receiving a full-on makeover with the upcoming Nike Kobe 6 Protro “All-Star 2.0”
The Nike Kobe 6 Protro 2.0 swaps the bred colors for a much more muted color palette of sail and light bone. The “All-Star 2.0” uses a sail-colored upper with light bone wrapping around the heel and midsole. The 2.0 also features textured stars covering the upper whereas previous Kobe 6’s featured a reptilian-like skin. Kobe’s signature is still prominently featured on the heel and balanced with a solid black swoosh.
The Nike Kobe 6 Protro “All-Star 2.0” will hit retailers just in time for the annual NBA All-Star Weekend in February 2025. The pair will carry a $190 price tag and will be available via SNKRS and other select retailers. NBA All-Star weekend always brings out major sneaker releases so make sure you follow our Twitter and Instagram to keep tabs.
