When British designer Wales Bonner rolled out her Adidas Originals Spring/Summer 2023, "Land of Wood and Water," it was apparent that some island flair was at least a small source of inspiration. Vintage pieces with traditional Caribbean colors, including apparel and sneakers, are all over the collection.
After her debut Samba was well-received. Bonner took a significant step forward with an all-encompassing summertime offering. The collection includes vintage-style tracksuits, socks, and jackets, amongst other pieces, and uses island theme colors. The collection's footwear consists of Samba and two SL 72 colorways. The Samba is chrome coated and features an embroidered lace-style triple stripe, while the SL72s come in green with orange and a black with red presentation.
The entire Wales Bonner Adidas Originals "Land of Wood and Water" collection releases just in time for summer on June 9.
