The creative minds over at CLOT have done it again. While many have tried, they have just designed the only colorway capable of reinvigorating the Nike Cortez. The CLOT Cortex Forrest Gump is iconic, and is a true piece of nostalgic Americana.
Known for their avant garde design work CLOT couldn’t just slap their name on the same shoe Forrest ran across the country in. This model is the third and final edition to the CLOTEZ Trilogy with a rendition of the classic OG Nike Cortez. The classic white upper of the has a true red swoosh and heel tab with embroidered logo work. The true genius of the shoe comes in the over-shoe that fits over the base with a modified blue swoosh and trim around the midsole. The CLOTEZ is meant to be a three-in-one offering with the inner model featuring a slim downed sole to ensure a glove-like fit. Sneaker heads can wear the base shoe and over-shoe by themselves or wear both together.
The Forrest Gump inspired colorway will be released on April 7 from CLOT’s online platform juicestore.com.
