The popular Cartoon Network series, The Powerpuff Girls, spanning six seasons, is commemorating its 25th anniversary. Nike SB and The Powerpuff Girls have united for an exclusive collaboration, introducing The Powerpuff Girls x Nike SB Dunk Low “Buttercup” scheduled for release in December 2023.

The Buttercup-inspired pair boasts a vibrant color scheme, combining Mean Green, Black, and Lotus Pink hues. Green dominates the shoe's upper, featuring a sleek, glossy finish, complemented by classic mesh tongues and toe box perforations. Blue accents the Swoosh logos, laces, and midsole, while reflective 3M detailing enhances the shoe's overall design. Notable features include Nike SB branding on the tongue labels in the show's distinctive font, adorned with "Buttercup" beneath. The character's emblematic Green eyes and mouth grace the heels, alongside additional elements like cartoon bubbles and the arch-nemesis Mojo Jojo, displayed on the insoles. Completing the design, a translucent Green rubber outsole adds a finishing touch to this unique collaboration.

The Powerpuff Girls x Nike SB Dunk Low "Buttercup" is launching at select Nike SB-affiliated skate shops on December 14th, 2023 ahead of its global launch date through the Nike SNKRS app on December 15th, 2023. The collaboration will be offered in full-family sizing, with adult pairs retailing at $135, preschool sizes at $90, and toddler sizes at $75.
