Nike is pulling the Zoom Hyperflight "Varsity Red" out of its early-2000s basketball archive for a 2026 return, part of a wider wave of Hyperflight colorways making their way back to shelves. First dropped in 2001, the low-profile silhouette stood apart from the bulkier court shoes of its era with a molded construction, near-seamless build, and a glossy shell that read more like a concept piece than a performance basketball shoe.

Varsity Red covers the synthetic upper in a reflective, mirror-like finish that defines the shoe's visual identity. Black wraps the heel and carries beneath the foot along the outsole, while a small white Swoosh near the lateral toe provides the only sharp contrast against the otherwise monochromatic upper.
