Reported by Complex, Nike CFO Matt Friend has revealed that the company will be set to reduce production of the popular Air Force 1 in a recent earnings call. The reason for this reduction is for Nike to release new designs into their lineup, where we'll see other popular silhouettes receiving reduction as well.
The Nike Air Force 1 was first introduced back in 1982 and has become one of Nike's most popular sneakers. With more colorways still pouring out in 2024, we'll likely see a slow-down in the coming months. With a focus on brand longevity and new sneaker innovations, the Air Force 1 will see a reduction in production, but still remains a classic in all of Nike's lineups.
