The Grade School Nike Kobe 4 "Draft Day" Releases June 2026

Nike is reviving the Kobe 4 "Draft Day" colorway once more, this time landing exclusively in grade school sizing. The build takes a different direction from the Lakers-inspired version that accompanied the adult release, trading in the traditional purple and gold blocking for a cleaner, brighter look built around a white base.

The upper is predominantly white, with yellow Swooshes running down each side as the primary color accent. The pairing keeps the Los Angeles spirit alive without leaning into a direct Lakers replica, giving the shoe a lighter, more youthful feel overall. Beneath the upper, a Glacier Blue outsole peeks through thanks to a wear-away finish on the bottom of the shoe. Nike notes that the hidden blue hue is meant to represent the unseen effort young players put into developing their game, adding a layer of meaning to what could otherwise read as a simple team colorway.
