Nike is bringing back the original "Ruthless Precision" colorway of the Kobe AD in Protro form, marking nearly a decade since the silhouette first debuted on November 22nd, 2016. The Kobe AD was the first signature shoe released after Kobe Bryant's retirement, and this return leans into that legacy while updating the platform for modern play.

The upper preserves the original design's core aesthetic, built on a Cool Grey, White, and Black palette that keeps the look understated and technical. One of the most distinctive visual details carries over intact: mismatched midsole treatments between the medial and lateral sides, a design choice Kobe had previously used on the Kobe 8 'What The.' An iridescent finish wraps the heel cup, giving the back of the shoe a subtle color-shifting quality that adds dimension without breaking the restrained color story.
