The Nike KD 17 "Sunrise" Releases May 2024
In an internal Nike document retrieved by Complex, we can see the first renderings of the Nike KD 17. These sketches depict two colorways, "Sunrise" and "Game Royal". Expected to debut in Summer 2024 for a retail price of $150, this will be exciting news for both Kevin Durant and Nike Basketball.
As this will be, Kevin Durant's seventeenth signature shoe, it's been a long journey between KD and Nike. As described in the document, the KD 17 is expected to feature forefoot Zoom cushioning, a TPU shank, a CushIon midsole, and a generative rubber outsole. The KD 17 bears quite resembles the Air Max Plus, featuring wavy lines across the upper, giving it a bit of a retro look.
