The Nike Dunk Low “Día De Muertos” Is Set To Drop Later This Month
Nike has continued to celebrate Día De Muertos each year since 2020. This year, we'll be seeing Nike release a "Día De Muertos" inspired Nike Dunk Low. Drawing inspiration from the Day of the Dead festivities, this sneaker promises to be a unique blend of cultural significance and streetwear appeal. Releasing on October 21st, be sure to mark your calendars for this release!
The Nike Dunk Low "Día De Muertos" features quite the unique design, not only being a sneaker, but telling a story. At first glance, the shoe boasts intricate patterns and bold color palette, reminiscent of the marigold flowers and sugar skulls that are synonymous with the Day of the Dead celebrations. The base leather layer will be found in shiny gold, with a hummingbird inspired design on the mudguard. The Nike Swoosh and overlays will be found in jet black, with a blue/pink hummingbird graphic etched underneath the ankle. To finish off the look, we'll see a white rubber midsole and Gum colored outsole.
