Nike Air Max Uptempo “Lakers” Returns Summer 2025
Ready for Summer 2025, Nike will be bringing back the Nike Air Max Uptempo "Lakers." Originally released in 1997, this retro basketball shoe will be a must-have for the upcoming Summer-time season. This new pair is expected to feature a one-to-one design to the original. Stay tuned for more updates in the coming months.
The Nike Air Max Uptempo “Lakers” features a Lakers-inspired color palette, including White and Varsity Maize hues. The two-toned upper features a White leather base leather, and vibrant Yellow hues gracing the mudguard, heel, and Nike Swoosh. Purple accents will grace the smaller Nike Swoosh found on the midsole, as well as outline the main Swoosh. Finishing off the look, we'll see a thick White midsole with an exposed Air Unit sitting atop a matching rubber outsole.
