Nike is taking the Air Force 1 Low in a distinctive material direction with the "Patent Denim" colorway, sealing a Coastal Blue denim fabric beneath a glossy patent finish rather than leaving the textile raw. The weave remains visible through the coating, and darker patches around the heel and side panels give the upper an uneven, tonal quality that separates it from a standard patent leather build.
Denim covers the toe, eyestays, quarter panels, Swooshes, and heel, with Flax stitching tracing the construction throughout. The same embroidery thread appears on the tongue labels, mini Swooshes, insoles, and Nike Air heel branding. Coastal Blue laces feed through eyelets finished with Flax-colored trim, while silver AF1 dubraes sit near the toe and thin white stripes break up the heel panels, adding just enough contrast to keep the heavily blue upper from reading as flat. Underfoot, a Natural-colored sole completes the pair with a translucent, slightly yellowed look that echoes the aged sole treatment Nike has used across several recent Air Force 1 releases.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low "Patent Denim" is set to release during Summer 2026 through Nike and select retailers. A retail price has not yet been confirmed. To stay informed on all things Nike and to stay up to date with the latest releases, connect with us on Instagram and Twitter.
