In the past, the Nike Air Foamposite One was one of the most sought-after sneaker models in the culture. In 2023, the sneaker's star power has been fading away rapidly and has become a rare sighting in the wild. Nike doesn’t want to let one of its most beloved models fade away completely, so it's looking to drop an all-black offering in 2023.
Rumors suggest that Nike plans to bring back all the bells and whistles of the original model that first debuted in 2007. Original design elements included ribbed side panels and nubuck on the quarter overlays, as well as mesh tongue and the OG sole unit. Every visible inch of the sneaker is blacked out and nothing suggests that another color will be featured on the model.
