Originally released back in 1999, the Nike Air Flightposite "Metallic Gold" made a grand entrance into the Nike Basketball world. With no re-release since 2008, we'll finally get to see this exciting sneaker hit shelves again later this year. The Nike Air Flightposite was a part of the Nike Alpha Project, which was a significant initiative by Nike that aimed to identify and solve product performance problems for athletes. Stay tuned for more information regarding this release in the upcoming months.
The Nike Air Flightposite “Metallic Gold” is expected to feature a very similar 1:1 design to the original 1999 pair. We'll see a sleek Black neoprene upper, with a shiny Metallic Gold Foamposite shell. Nike branding can be found in White or etched into the shoe to match the exterior. The iconic carbon fiber plate will be painted White, with a Black rubber outsole to finish off the look.
The Nike Air Flightposite “Metallic Gold” (2024) is expected to be released during the Holiday 2024 season via the Nike SNKRS app and other select Nike retailers for a retail of $240.
