After a whirlwind release that included a world tour that shut down parts of New York City, Paris Corteiz announced they're not yet done with the Air Max 95 project. The Corteiz x Nike Air Max 95 “110” is definitely on the shortlist for Sneaker Of The Year and had a release that will go down in sneaker history. The release caused such a stir in so many countries that it may have surpassed the lure of the Foamposite "Galaxy" release in 2012, which caused retailers to rethink in-person releases in favor of the online drop method.
That "110" release is apparently not over. Clint, the founder of the British design firm, announced that after their online drop, they combed through all orders and found upwards of 1,000 pairs that they identified as being purchased using bots. Clint announced that all said canceled shoes will be released at an undisclosed location in London and feature all three colorways. The release sounds similar to how the New Your drop went down and will probably cause an equal amount of ruckus.
The Corteiz x Nike Air Max '95 "110" took its name from the London streets that coined the phrase as a nod to the high price tag of the original '95 release. The crepes will once again carry that sticker price, as the canceled bot orders will retail for £110. If you find yourself in London on July 15th make sure you’re following our Twitter and Instagram for details on the pop-up location.
