As a player Deion Sanders was more than just a cornerback or centerfielder, he was an icon. Now as the Head Coach of the University of Colorado Football team, he has become larger than life. Much like his on-field presence his signature Diamond Turf line of Nikes has found new life since joining the coaching ranks. Since relaunching the line earlier this year with the Nike Air DT Max 96 was such a huge success Nike is now following up with the Air DT Max 96 “Colorado Away”.
The Nike Air DT Max 96 “Colorado Away” comes dressed in base white leather with Colorado gold embedded on the shoe's signature vertical flame-like design. The shoes are decorated with a velcro strap across the laces as well as the Diamond Turfs goal post and home plate logo. Exposed air bubbles on the heel and a portrait from Sanders’ playing days nestled just below the surface of the outsole add some flair to the undercarriage.
The Nike Air DT Max 96 “Colorado Away” arrives alongside the kick-off of the Buffaloes football season and is slated to drop on September 2nd, 2024. The shoes will retail for $170 and will be available via Nike and other select retailers. Tune in with us on Twitter and Instagram for all the latest sneaker news and release info.
