With the comfort-focused "Dad Shoes" sitting atop the sneaker game these days, it's no surprise that New Balance has asserted itself as one of the top brands on the market. Leave it to the Boston-based retailer to up the ante with a new sole so thick and cushioned it would make Michelin Man proud to wear it.
The New Balance Warped Runner is the brand's newest silhouette, featuring a cushioned sole that rivals the Nike Alphafly NEXT%. The upper consists of a white mesh base layer and tan-colored suede overlays. Said overlays display a few circular-shaped cutouts, one of which reveals the "N" logo lettered in black. The super-chunky soles are multi-dimensional with contours and varying shades of tan stacked on each other.
The New Balance Warped Runner appeared on a runway show during the recent Paris Fashion Week, but no details about an actual release have been available. For now, New Balance fans will have to settle for the Rich Paul x New Balance 550 collab and wait for more info via our Twitter and Instagram.
