You have to give it a New Balance; they're constantly trying to perfect their products with new iterations and changes. They recently debuted the 990 v6 and introduced the 991v2 in the latter part of 2023 with the Stone Island collaboration. Since the initial launch, the 991v2 has also seen a Made In UK (MiUK) release and now boasts a second as the New Balance 991v2 "Black/Grey" joins the crew.
The New Balance 991v2 "Black/Grey" uses a mesh toe box with 3M reflective grey leather overlays to blend function and style. The premium black pigskin suede used throughout the rest of the upper brings a stealthy approach and keeps the shoe versatile. A white and grey midsole with exposed Fuel Cell units gives the undercarriage some finesse, while gray laces and sock liners round out the design package.
The New Balance 991v2 MiUK "Black/Grey" will drop in 2024, but a firm date is not yet available. The shoes will come at a premium of $250 and will drop via New Balance and other select retailers worldwide. We'll find out the release date soon enough, so follow us on Twitter and Instagram to find out when we do.
