This is just in from the "Better late than never" category; 1990's Bu-Matal group Korn will release an official Adidas collaboration collection. The collaboration was first reported by KicksFinder, and now new details have emerged from Brendan Dunne. The band was always a big supporter of the brand and released a song titled A.D.I.D.A.S. in 1997. However, the acronym didn't have anything to do with sneakers.
While Korn and Adidas never had an official partnership while the band was on top of the music scene, the two are now set to release an entire collection with 2 different sneaker silhouettes and apparel. The sneakers will consist of the Korn x Adidas Campus 00s and a Korn x Adidas Supermodified, with both shoes coming in basic black and white treatments. The apparel kit will include a hoodie, 2 t-shirts, and 2 full tracksuits.
The Korn x Adidas capsule is rumored to release in October of this year, but an exact date has yet to be determined. Expect to see the collection released via Adidas and other select retailers.
