The Jordan Nu Retro 1 will get its special "Shattered Backboard" colorway in these upcoming months. The iconic "Shattered Backboard" takes a piece of iconic basketball history from Michael Jordan shattering the backboard with a dunk during a 1985 Nike exhibition game in Italy and turning it into one of the most well-recognized Jordan Brand colorways. The Jordan Nu Retro 1 is a slightly altered variant of the classic Jordan 1, released in 2002. An unexpected colorway, this will be a perfect start to the holiday season.
The Jordan Nu Retro 1 "Shattered Backboard" features classic color hues, including White, Black, and Orange. The upper will be found in a White leather base and sleek Black leather overlays, including the inner lining, tongue, and laces. The heel, half of the midsole, and Jumpman logo on the laces will be accented in Orange. Finishing off the look, we'll see the other half of the midsole in White and an Orange and semi-translucent rubber outsole.
