Fresh from the bustling streets of Chicago, Joe Freshgoods is gearing up for another exciting collaboration with New Balance, unveiling the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 990v4 "1998" collection inspired by the 1998 Hype Williams film "Belly."
This trio of 990v4 traces its roots to Freshgoods himself, drawing inspiration from the iconic XXL photoshoot featuring rap heavyweights like DMX, Jay-Z, and Ja Rule, forming the hip-hop supergroup Murder Inc. The collection comes in 3 sleek colorways, dubbed Intro, Outro, & Keisha Blue. The shoe's construction showcases a fusion of mesh, suede, and leather materials, combining textures for an enticing visual and tactile experience. Notably, the JFG branding takes center stage on the lateral heel, replacing the traditional 990 logo, adding a personal touch that marks this collaboration.
The Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 990v4 Made in USA "1998" is expected to release December 2023 through Joe Freshgood’s website and NewBalance.com. For more updates on everything Joe Freshgoods, follow us on Instagram and Twitter for sneaker news, raffles, and restocks.
