The New York-based boutique Hidden will release an exclusive Asics GT-2160 collaboration as part of the Hidden Holiday Program. Hidden and Asics have already teased an upcoming Gel-NYC collaboration for 2024, but this GT-2160 seemingly came out of nowhere. According to Hidden's comments on Instagram, these 2160s are the "mixtape," and the NYCs are the "album."
The Hidden NY x Asics GT-2160 is a three-part collaboration with Jakob Werner of JW Customs. The GT-2160s have been hand-crafted by Werner to leave each pair its own unique work of art. Officially dubbed the Hidden NY x JW Customs x Asics GT-2160 "Crystal Pine 0.5", this masterpiece features a white mesh base layer with minty green lining on the logo and midsole with the signature "Crystal Pine" around the tips and eyestays. Hidden NY branding is used throughout the shoes, and custom pine-green flag labels display the logos of all three collaborative partners.
The Hidden NY x JW Customs x Asics GT-2160 "Crystal Pine 0.5" will be available exclusively via Hidden NY on December 13th. The pair is said to cost $190 and drops alongside a Hidden x Asics apparel collection.
