Asics x Gallery Department GT-2160 Releases December 15th
Not many brands have caught fire the way Asics has this year. StockX recently reported the brand as having a 72% increase in over-year sales, and 2024 looks to be an even stronger year for them. They've been pumping out steady heat with collaborations from heavy hitters like Kith and Above The Clouds, and now they're hitting the high notes with a Gallery Department collaboration.
The Asics x Gallery Department GT-2160 debuted to a limited audience at last month's ComplexCon, and many thought that would be all she wrote for releases. Gallery Department collaboration is notoriously slim stock, but after a minimal release from Gallery Department directly, the GT-2160 is readying a release from Asics and other retailers.
The Asics GT-2160 is one of the brand's flagship "sport style" silhouettes, and this release matches a black base layer and silver mesh overlays with bright blue accent pieces and black piping throughout the shoe. The Gallery Department touch comes in with multi-colored paint speckles strewn across the forefoot and a yellow brand tag towards the heel.
The Asics x Gallery Department GT-2160 is scheduled to release via Asics on December 15th for $295.
