Popular media company, Hartcopy, will be teaming up with adidas this year to release a new BW Army sneaker. Founded back in 2020, this editorial page has since generated a whopping 250,000 follower count on Instagram through their unique style of sneaker releases. The first released images of this collaboration has had fans calling out the similarities between this sneaker and the popular Maison Margiela Replica.
The Hartcopy x adidas BW Army features the adidas BW Army silhouette, also known as the German Army Trainer. The reason behind this is that this sneaker was first designed for the German army in the 70s and was later made available to the public through European surplus stores. Since then, we've seen this shoe be the subject of various collaborations and re-releases in recent years.
This sneaker will feature a tumbled leather upper, dressed fully in White, with matching tones found on the inner lining and padded tongue. A small Red stitching line can be seen on the lateral side of the sneaker, giving it a unique touch, alongside off-white colored laces. This look is finished off with a classic Gum sole, with adidas branding embossed at the end. Stay tuned for more updates regarding this release in the upcoming months.
