Signing to Jordan Brand is a dream in itself, but there's an additional perk that comes with signing with the brand on the basketball court. Elite athletes such as Jayson Tatum, Satou Sabally, Obi Toppin, and Luka Doncic have all had the privilege of collaborating with Kelsey Amy at Jordan Brand, resulting in personalized details for their on-court kicks. Now Luka Doncic is getting another opponent to birth a PE sneaker with the Jordan Luka 2 Rainbow Sorbet.
Drawing inspiration from Doncic's Air Jordan 35 Imaginarium PE, which ended up becoming the Jordan Luka 1, this iteration of his signature line mirrors the distinctive color blocking of another exclusive Air Jordan 35 design worn during the 2021-22 NBA season. Coined the Rainbow Sorbet colorway, this vibrant sneaker utilizes a blend of pastel hues and accents of various shades of lavender. The overlays feature a marbling effect with an iridescent finish, turning heads on or off the court. This theme extends to the entire shoe, where a rich coat of purple consumes everything from the laces and collar lining to the cushioning system that lies beneath. The TPU stabilizers, take on a fresh peach hue, while the Jumpman branding featured in black provides a fresh contrast to the pair.
The Jordan Luka 2 Rainbow Sorbet PE does not have an official release planned for the foreseeable future. The pair will be made exclusively for Luka Doncic, if you are interested in acquiring a pair you’ll be paying a pretty penny on secondary markets like StockX.
