Nike has brushed the dust off this silhouette with upcoming releases, such as an upcoming collaboration with Awake New York and the recent release of the A-Ma-Maniere Jordan Air Ship. The streak continues in an upcoming collaboration with Japanese retailer Forget-me-nots.
The Forget-me-nots x Jordan Air Ship “From Bud To Flower” is an exclusive women's release that pays homage to the intriguing transformation of the forget-me-not flower. Much like this delicate blossom's journey from a modest white bud to a vibrant blue or purple bloom, the shoe reflects this evolution with its pristine white leather upper, elegantly complemented by a subtle grey suede Swoosh. The azure Nike Air branding on the heel tab and the rubber outsole beautifully capture the hues of the forget-me-not flower, while a daring touch is added with the jagged-edge leather collar, hinting at the possibility of tearaway layers concealing the enigmatic "rush fuchsia" shade.
The Forget-me-nots x Jordan Air Ship “From Bud To Flower” (W) is set to release on September 27th, 2023 for $150. The release will be available on forgetmenots.jp and at select NBHD retailers, with an SNKRS release still up in the air.
