Kacey Lynch, the founder of BRICKS & WOOD, is joining forces with New Balance. Inspired by Lynch's Grandmother's house, the New Balance 9060 got the complete B & W South Central LA treatment.
The shoe marks Bricks & Wood's second collaboration following their New Balance 57/40 back in mid-2021. The 9060 uppers feature gray breathable mesh complimented by neutral cream pig skin suede overlays. Gorgeous fuzzy laces and lime green accents complement the color-blocking schema. The shoe is seated atop SBS cushioned midsole paired with a camo B&W insole. While the 9060 silhouette is not for everyone, it offers convincing potential for carefully curated muted outfits.
According to Lynch's Instagram post, an exclusive B & W x NB pop-up shop, "Nothing Changed but the Address," will present at PaperBoy Paris, France, on Thursday, January 19. A US release for the shoes on bricksandwood.us. is scheduled for January 20. Bricks & Wood will hold two more pop-ups at t.a. in NY, followed by LA on January 23 and 28, respectively. A final global release will happen on January 30 at newbalance.com.
