The FC Barcelona x Nike Kobe 3 Low Protro "Electro Purple" Releases September 2026

Nike and FC Barcelona are continuing their run through the Kobe line in 2026, this time landing on the Kobe 3 Low Protro. The partnership traces back to Kobe Bryant's genuine affinity for the club, a connection that predated any formal deal and that has kept Barça as a recurring theme across his signature footwear for years. One of the earliest and most notable examples came in 2011 with the Kobe 6 "Barcelona," which became one of the more sought-after colorways from that original run. The current Protro era has picked up that thread, and the Kobe 3 Low gives it a new shape to work with.

The "Electro Purple" build keeps the palette focused and consistent. Purple runs across nearly the entire upper, covering the base panels, laces, molded cage, midsole, and translucent outsole in a single unified shade. Black appears beneath the side panels and around the collar, adding enough depth to keep the construction from reading as flat. Gold handles all of the branding, with Kobe's Sheath logo on one tongue and the FC Barcelona crest on the other, while gold Swooshes at the heel and gold interior details carry the finish through the rest of the shoe. Opting for the low-top form of the Kobe 3 rather than one of the taller retro silhouettes gives this release a different profile from earlier Barcelona-themed pairs, while still reading unmistakably as a Kobe 3.
