Edison Chen, the founder of CLOT, will be joining adidas Originals as its newest creative partner. Before joining adidas, Chen has been working with Nike for the past two decades. Streetwear label, CLOT, has been a prominent member in the streetwear and fashion industry, starting out back in 2003. As a final hoorah, Chen and Nike released the CLOT x Nike Dunk Low "What the? CLOT" earlier this year in June as rumors began to surface.
This will be exciting news for adidas, with many new releases lined up soon. Unknown to many, adidas and CLOT have actually worked together in the past, with a few adidas Superstars releases back in the 2010s. The latest products from CLOT and adidas were showcased during Shanghai Fashion Week SS24. Stay tuned for the exciting future for these two major brands.
