Hello Kitty Takes Over The Adidas Stan Smith
Adidas has a reputation collaborating with beloved fictional characters, from Homer Simpson to the cat from Alice in Wonderland, Adidas shows no fear when testing the waters. Now Adidas plans to take its love for animated characters all the way to Japan to collaborate with the famous Hello Kitty.
At first glance the pair may seem like a regular Adidas Stan Smith, but when inspecting the shoe closer you can see the intricate details displayed throughout. Hello Kitty and friends is printed on the side panels of the white leather shoe, and features a sock lining made of fabric overflowing with different Sanrio characters. The Stan Smith Adidas branding on the heel comes in a fuzzy pink over white cotton material that mimics that of a cats fur. The biggest feature differentiating these from the OG sneakers is a huge plush of Hello Kitty's head on the lace dubres that can be seen from a mile away.
