The creative minds in Beaverton are constantly looking for ways to expand on their already staggering success. With how dunk-mania has taken over the sneaker world, it should be no surprise that evolution efforts are underway. With new variations of Dunks on the rise, like the Dunk Disrupt, constructing the upper from unique materials like satin and now the Twist model, there's yet to be a telling where the shoe will go next.
The Nike Dunk Low Twist "Rush Fuchsia" is next in line for the new breed of Dunks, and while it does have the same basic construction as the OG model, there are some new features. The Twist model features a swoosh that extends up off the shoe, similar to what we've seen from previous Dunk collaborations with Ambush. The tip and heel of the shoes have a rubberized bumper, and the tongue is raised above the typical ankle cut height. As for the color blocking, that remains pretty consistent with most of the "College Colors' dunks we're used to with black tips, eye stays, and collar, while the rush-fuchsia comes in on the medial, tongue, and heel tab. A vintage-toned midsole and black outsole round out the aesthetics of the new-wave kicks.
The Nike Dunk Low Twist "Rush Fuchsia" isn't alone, as a handful of other colorways have been teased already, but no release dates have been announced. When their time comes, expect to see them drop on the SNKRS App and at other select retailers nationwide.
