Copdate founder, Andrew Raisman, has silently shifted his focus to a new venture. With the help of Brooklyn Projects owner, the duo have unveiled their latest venture: TRSTD.
This app has been said to allow users to "Shop the biggest drops from your favorite brands, artists & retailers with peace of mind knowing that TRSTD releases can only be accessed by real people, not bots." This is quite exciting news for many sneaker enthusiasts, as the use of bots has been affecting many since online releases began. You can likely start seeing TRSTD be used and adopted by skate shops for future FCFS SB drops as well as other releases alike.
Currently, TRSTD is free to use. The way the app operates is through a pass system where currently, everyone gets 3 free passes. You can expect it to go paid in the future.
It might not be all sunshine and rainbows, but upon further inspection of their faq, you'll see
This could definitely be a limit to TRSTD's ability to allow for a fair and equal chance at each sneaker. As TRSTD is built out more and more, this can be a terrific addition to a more fair sneaker release system.
You can visit TRSTD via their website and keep up with updates on their Instagram. To keep up with the latest sneaker news be sure to follow us on Instagram and Twitter.
