CLOT x adidas Superstar Debuts February 2024
Edison Chen, co-founder of CLOT, revealed in October 2023 that the brand's 20-year anniversary would also mark the end of their partnership with Nike. Soon after, the brand announced that it would be partnering with adidas, more than a decade after the pair's initial partnership. The collaboration features Chen's reimagined adidas Superstar releasing February 2024.
The CLOT x adidas Superstar features a fusion of Cloud White, Core Black, and Crystal Sand. Boasting a preppy aesthetic, this collaboration showcases a White leather base adorned with perforations, enhancing breathability and maintaining the iconic shell toe. Notable elements include the Black Three Stripes gracing the sides, along with co-branded tongue labels and heel tabs. Elevating the classic Superstar silhouette, the sneaker introduces a unique twist with a stacked White and Tan midsole. This is perched atop a Cream-colored grooved rubber outsole, ensuring a perfect balance of durability and traction.
