Fashion powerhouse Bode and sportswear legend Nike continue to strengthen their partnership with new iterations of the Astrograbber, launching in Spring 2025. This silhouette holds significant historical value, having been designed by Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman in the 1970s specifically for athletes competing on synthetic turf. After its successful reintroduction to the market in 2024, the Astrograbber now returns with contemporary updates while maintaining its authentic vintage appeal.
The sophisticated "Black Mesh" version, which debuted alongside its counterpart during Bode's Rec. Spring 2025 runway presentation at the GQ Bowl in New Orleans, offers a sleek, monochromatic approach to the classic silhouette. Constructed with breathable mesh materials, this all-black design provides versatility that seamlessly transitions between casual and more polished settings. The sneaker features the iconic black Nike Swoosh and is built on a sturdy rubber outsole, striking the perfect balance between heritage athletic design and modern fashion sensibility.
The Bode x Nike Astrograbber "Black Mesh" will hit shelves on March 14th, 2025 for a retail of $160 on bode.com before seeing a global release thorough the Nike SNKRS app on March 21st, 2025. For the latest Nike collaborations, download our mobile app and follow us on Twitter.
