500 Pairs Of The BAPE x Bored Ape Yacht Club BAPE-STA Release On December 16th
Even though the NFT world has struggled to regain the momentum it had just two years ago, the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) project still keeps the pedal to the metal. Long revered as the pinnacle of NFT success, BAYC has found its way into the mainstream with collaborations and real-world offerings. There's even a BAYC-themed restaurant in California. BAYC is finally ready to debut its long-awaited collection with streetwear stalwart BAPE, including a BAPE-STA and other apparel pieces.
The collection's highlight is the BAPE x BAYC BAPE-STA, which comes in full-grain white leather with a camo print running a thick border around the BAPE signature star logo. The pair features both the brand's logos and BAYC imagery on the soles. Also part of the collection are hoodies, t-shirts, jackets, and other pieces.
The BAPE x BAYC BAPE-STA is limited to 1,000 pairs, with 250 being released at ApeFest in Hong Kong this past October and another 250 sold via the BAYCs token-gated online platform. The remaining 500 pairs will now be released via BAPE's online and in-store venues on December 16th.
