Bape Is Opening Up New Lanes With The Release Of A Bowling Shoe, In Collaboration With END Clothing
A Bathing Ape, better known as Bape, has an array of different collaborations on its resume. This collb with European based brand END clothing should come as non surprise to those familiar with the brand and its vision. Bape has made just about anything you can think of, everything from clothing, to household essentials like rugs. Bape has solidified itself not only as a streetwear powerhouse, but as a house hold flex.
This time Bape will take its talents to the lanes and bring us a unique and brilliant silhouette of its iconic Bape STA in the form of a bowling shoe. The Bape STA was first born in the year 2000 to the father of Bape, Nigo. Nigo created the shoe in hopes of rivaling Nike's Air Force 1, taking premium leathers/colorful color blocking and slapping them on the Air Force Ones silhouette.
This take on the Bape STA will come in a split colorway. Forest green sits on one side of the side panel while the other features maroon red hues. The base of the sneaker comes in a cream leather, that matches the shoes rubber midsole, and laces. The pair features a variety of different Bape branding, the Bape star comes stitched in white thread atop the leather base. The heel tab also features Bape STA branding, while the dubrae features END clothing subtle branding.
