Some say the Air Jordan 13 was the last silhouette that's actually still desired by the streets. Everything after that was just too much of a basketball shoe and not wearable with a pair of jeans. The 25th Anniversary of the Air Jordan 13 came and went last year without much fanfare but the shoe has found its way into recent headlines. The “Biggie Smalls” and “The Last Dance” 13's both went up for auction at Sotheby's, the latter fetching a whopping $2.3 Million.
The Swoosh is also starting to give the 13 the credit it deserves with a recent rerelease of the Playoffs colorway and a Black Flint model coming soon. Recent leaks reveal that the next 13 in line for a drop is the Wolf Grey. The Air Jordan 13 Wolf Grey is about as clean as can be with a white leather tufted upper set against light grey suede paneling. The lone points of accent on the Wolf Grey’s comes in the form of a red outsole and Jordan branding on the tongue tag.
We’re still waiting on official images to load but we do know that the Air Jordan 13 Wolf Grey is slated for a July 1 release. Expect to see the release via the Nike SNKRS App and at other select retailers nationwide.
