In 2023, we saw adidas bring back the iconic Crazy 8 basketball shoe. Unknown to many, the Crazy 8 was Kobe Bryant's first adidas signature shoe, was first showcased back in the 1998 All-Star game. As we are arriving near the end of 2024, adidas Basketball will be releasing additional colorways to the silhouette, this time around in "Lakers." Take a look at the official images of the pair below.
The adidas Crazy 8 “Lakers” features a Lakers-inspired color palette featuring Core White, Off White, and Collegiate Purple hues. The upper will be constructed of a White leather base, with matching leather overlays. The inner lining, tongue, and laces will also be found in White, with Purple accents found on the tongue, adidas branding, and heel tab. You'll find a white rubber midsole featuring the latest Torsion System for ultimate performance sitting atop a Black rubber outsole to finish the look.
